Wayne Sharpe Wayne Sharpe - Executive Chairman & Founder. Wayne has led Bartercard from its inception 16 years ago to its current position as a global leader in the barter industry. With a background as computer engineer, sales person, then sales trainer, Wayne became an entrepreneur in the late 1980s. Tim Ashley Sparks Bartercard MD & Bartercard Real Estate MD Tim brings 35 years of business experience in both the corporate and private sectors. He became a Bartercard member in 2002 and immediately realised the benefits of Bartercard and in 2003 invested in purchasing a brokerage. A year later Tim purchased a larger area to form the brokerage now known as BBH (Bucks, Beds & Herts). Tim successfully owns a property development company as well as town centre commercial and residential investments in the UK and a large portfolio abroad. In 2006 Bartercard UK purchased the BBH brokerage and Tim became Managing Director of Bartercard Real Estate, who's success in providing investment properties to strategic accounts to date, has provided significant benefits with Bartercard members using trade pounds in place of cash deposits. In November 2007 Tim committed to his new role as Managing Director for Bartercard UK Ltd. Tim has commenced on an aggressive installation of principle trading and sales key to the successful expansion of BCUK. Tim is an active member of the UK management team and will be working closely with Mr Wayne Sharpe the founder of Bartercard. Top |

| Simon Barker Group Finance Director Simon Barker is in charge of the finance team holding the position of Group Finance Director of Bartercard Ltd. Simon took up his post in May 2009 although he has been a non-executive director since 2005. Simon is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. Simon has had an extensive career within various international manufacturing and service companies. His career has included being International Finance Director for the internet based electronic parts distributor Partminer Corporation and Finance and Service Director for the catering equipment manufacturer Merrychef, now part of the Enodis Group. Simon is also a director of SMEFD.com which provides financial and strategic advice to the UK SME community. Simon joined the Board of Bartercard in November 2005 and with a strong International Finance background brings a considerable wealth of financial and general management experience and knowledge to the Bartercard Group. Lee Barton Executive Administration Manager An extremely efficient senior manager who is capable of implementing and driving a wide range of business-critical initiatives and programmes, Lee is a good professional example to all colleagues and associates both inside the company and out. Hailing from Australia, Lee started her working life as a health insurance underwriter for the Combined Insurance Company in Australia. She then formed a joint partnership and successfully managed her own Advertising Agency which successfully franchised a leading edge advertising medium across Brisbane and Melbourne before joining the Bartercard team in 1997. Lee moved to the UK in 2002 assuming the role of National Administration Manager and in 2003 was promoted to Executive Administration Manager at Bartercard UK. Lee manages the company's administration team and oversees all the key operational aspects for Bartercard UK and its members to ensure the UK head office operates with maximum effectiveness Top |
